The Legacy of the Divine Tarot is my third and almost certainly my last tarot deck. This project is quite extensive and a more personal approach to Tarot. The images incorporate many elements from my other illustrations which will, within the context of this project, now find a new home and meaning. Nevertheless their inclusion and incorporation remains relevant. Despite considerable artistic licence and personal input I consider the result still adheres to the basic structure of tarot and specifically that of the RWS. Anyone comfortable with that system should be in familiar territory.

    The deck will be produced in two forms. The first will be a special collectors edition that is now avaialble. Please go to the 'Prints and Things' page for pricing and options. The second will be a standard version to be pubished by Llewellyn and planned for release in the last quarter of 2009.   THE DECK. I use the term Special Edition as opposed to Limited edition. This isn't just playing with words, but better describes the item. I have produced variations of a number of cards. These variations will be incorporated and randomly selected during the collating process of assembling the cards. This is done by hand. Statistically it will be almost impossible that the exact configuration of cards will be the same in any two decks. So by default each deck will be a one of a kind. Furthermore there is a signature card. I sign each individually, the signature is not printed. The size of the cards are 3.25 x 5.5. They are coated with thin satin laminate, this is a beautiful finish in my opinion, one that provides a smooth feel, easily shuffled and good protection. These decks will last

   THE BOOK. Hard cover, with outer sleeve. 11.5 x 9 inches. The inside cover will also be signed and personalized for each customer. The story will be accompanied by full color illustrations throughout, and include a loose signed print of a Legacy themed montage which can then be framed if you so wish. Please note that this book is intended as an artbook, not the usual companion book that provides explanation for the cards. A "guide" book is being prepared and will be included with the standard deck next year, and I'd be quite happy to provide this reference as a pdf document at no extra charge, but it won't be finished until about the end of the year.   

  THE READING CANVAS. Part of the Special Edition PACKAGE. A richly decorated image incorporating the entire Major Arcana. Offered as a giclée reproduction on canvas, 24 x 24 inches.
